What Was That Word?

 Frindle Vocabulary

Mrs. Granger is Nicholas Allen's language arts teacher in Frindle, and she says that ''Clear thinking requires a command of the English language.''

You can increase your command of the English language by reading and learning new words from what you read. Below is a collection of vocabulary words from the novel Frindle by Andrew Clements.

Keep in mind that many words have more than one meaning. The definitions listed in this lesson represent the way the words are used in each chapter of Frindle.
