What Was That Word?

 As a reader, you might come across unfamiliar vocabulary as you read. As an inquirer, you might want to find out just what that word means so you can understand what the author and her characters are trying to say.

For example- a kid who has been bullied might say, I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of           seeing me cry. It uses the premise that people do something hoping to get a (negative) reaction out of               the other person.
